Gregory "Gregg" James Cobler, 62, of Gepp, AR, went home to be with Jesus on Sunday, February 12, 2023.
He was born November 8, 1960, in Topeka, Kansas, the son of James and Norma (Edwards) Cobler. He graduated from Seaman High school in 1978. He later went on to Fellowship Bible College in Broken Arrow, Ok and graduated with a diploma in 1982.
Gregg was a Computer Desktop Support for many years.
He had a passion for music and enjoyed playing guitar. He also enjoyed archery, shooting and bowling. The most important thing to him was spending time with his family.
Gregory married Diane Lynn Cunningham on August 29, 2009 in Kearney, MO. Survivors include his wife, Diane Lynn Cobler; his mother, Norma Cobler; siblings, Scott (Debra) Cobler and Michelle Cobler; two step daughters, April (Jerry) Conway and Cheyenne (Ted) Ade; Nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, James Ray Cobler on April 30, 2018 and step-son, Dallas Walter on February 20, 2010.
The family will greet relatives and friends on Thursday, February 16, 2023 from 5:00pm -7:00pm at Penwell Gabel Funeral Home, 1321 SW 10th Ave., Topeka, Kansas 66604. A funeral service will be at 10:00 am., Friday, February 17, 2023 at Penwell Gabel Funeral Home. Gregg will be laid to rest at Rochester Cemetery following the funeral service.
