Grace W. McMillen, 88, Topeka, passed away on Thursday, September 25, 2008 at Midland Hospice House.
Grace was born July 21, 1920 in Topeka the daughter of William and Julia (Carney) McMillen.
She graduated from Topeka High School and attended Washburn University. She worked for Lattimore-Fink Laboratories for 41 years, retiring in 1982.
She was a member of Potwin Presbyterian Church and volunteered for the American Cancer Society.
Survivors include a sister, Cornelia Snyder, Topeka; nephews, Mark (Rita) Snyder, Craig (Jan) Snyder, David (Linda) Snyder, all of Topeka; and great nephews, Brent Snyder, Corey Snyder and Nathan Snyder.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, September 29, 2008 at Mount Hope Cemetery. Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Topeka Rescue Mission, 600 N. Kansas Avenue, Topeka, Kansas 66608 or Potwin Presbyterian Church, 400 SW Washburn, Topeka, Kansas 66606.
