G. Zenobia Lee, 94, of Topeka, passed away, Sunday, October 31, 2004 at Rolling Hills Health Center.
She was born November 17, 1909 at Omaha, Nebraska the daughter of Walter D. and Lucy E. Birdsley Corn. Mrs. Lee worked as a switchboard operator for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company for 37 years she retired in 1965. She was a member of West Side Christian Church, and Telephone Pioneers. She married Arthur Lee January 6, 1929 in Topeka, Kansas hed died June 11, 1972. She is survived by a daughter, Zonda Morgan and husband Charlie of Topeka; son, Larry F. Lee, Zapata, TX; Step-Son, Victor Lee, Colorado Springs, CO; 8 grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 4 step-great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial services will be at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2004 at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel. Interment of cremains will be private at Mt. Hope Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be sent to Heart of America Hospice Topeka, KS 66614 or West Side Christian Church 432 Lindenwood Topeka, KS 66606
