Gloria A. Ford

Gloria Ann Ford passed away April 13, 2025, in Topeka, Kansas. Gloria was born in St. John, Kansas to Fred N. Hammer and Anita Helen (Cotton) Hammer. She spent most of her life in Ulysses, Kansas. Gloria married Jack H. Ford at First United Methodist Church in Ulysses. They later moved to Topeka, Kansas, where they spent the remainder of their lives.

Survivors are daughters, Deborah Ford of Seattle, Washington, Barbara Ford Norton of Wichita, Kansas and Mary Beth Ford of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; grandson, Alex Ford Huie of Bozeman, Montana; sister, Mary Weiland and husband Charles Weiland of Shawnee, Kansas; sister, Kay Priest of Olathe, Kansas and sister-in-law, Mora Jean Hammer of Russelville, Arkansas. Gloria was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 66 years, Jack; brother, Jess Hammer of Ulysses, Kansas; sister, Norma McCauley of Ulysses, Kansas and brother-in-law, Warren Priest.

Pursuant to Gloria's wishes there will be no memorial services. Her body will be cremated and inured next to Jack's remains at Memorial Park Cemetery in Topeka.
