Gloria Ann Glendening

Gloria Ann Glendening, 86, of Topeka, passed away on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at her home.
Gloria was born on July 7, 1926 in Chickasha, Oklahoma, the daughter of Bill and Lucille (Warren) Johnson. Gloria married George (Bud) F. Glendening, Jr. on October 6, 1945 in Las Vegas, NV and they celebrated 63 years of marriage together. Bud preceded her in death.
Gloria is survived by three sons: Tim (Karen) Glendening of Orlando, FL; Gary (Dian) Glendening of Westmoreland, KS; Kevin (Terra) Glendening of Topeka, KS; one daughter, Sherrie Glendening of Topeka, and six grandchildren. A private graveside service will take place at the Penwell-Gabel Cemetery, 3616 SW 6th Ave, Topeka. Memorial contributions may be made to either the Midland Hospice House, 200 SW Frazier Circle, Topeka, KS 66606 or to the Helping Hands Humane Society, 5720 SW 21st Street Topeka, KS 66604.
