Gladys Irene Sayler, 81, Topeka, passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2007.
Gladys was born May 15, 1925 in Harveyville, the daughter of Chester and Ida (Johnson) Thornburg.
She was employed for 36 years at Adams Business Forms, retiring in 1981.
She was a member of University United Methodist Church, V.F.W. Auxiliary #1650, A.A. R. P. and Adams Retiree Club.
Gladys married Marlin M. Sayler on July 17, 1948 in Manhattan. He died January 14, 1993. She was the loving mother of daughters, Joyce Senogles, Clinton, NC, Janet Haake, Paradise, CA; son, Milton Sayler, Topeka; grandmother of 8; great grandmother of 9 and sister to Roy Thornburg, Holton, and Everett Thornburg, Wichita.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, February 5, 2007 at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. Gladys will lie in state at the funeral home after 2:00 p.m. on Sunday and visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Burial will be at West Lawn Memorial Gardens.
