Gladys I. Myers, 93, Topeka, passed away on Sunday, May 13, 2007 at Aldersgate Village. Gladys was born July 10, 1913 in Mayetta, the daughter of John Edwin and Edna Potter Coleman. She was raised in Mayetta and graduated from Mayetta High School. She lived in Leavenworth from 1939 until moving to Topeka in 1990 where she had resided since. She was a member of First Methodist Church in Leavenworth and many Women's organizations in the church. Gladys married Harold F. Myers on July 22, 1939 in Hoyt, KS. He preceded her in death on December 5, 2005. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Mildred Blair in October of 2003. Survivors include one daughter, Marlene Eisenring and husband, Richard of Taos, NM, three grandchildren, Michelle Eisenring, Mike and wife, Karen Eisenring and Mindy Porche and husband, Ian, and three great-grandchildren. Memorial services will take place at 10:00 a.m. Monday in Wesley Hall at Aldersgate Village.
