Gerda M. Bessey, 82, of Topeka, formerly of Pacific Grove, CA, passed away Thursday, April 14 at Midland Hospice House.
She was born June 16, 1922 in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany, the daughter of Frederick and Sophia Raedler.
She was a long time owner of an art supply store and gallery in San Jose, CA. She was an accomplished potter.
Cremation is planned. No services are scheduled at this time . Private family services will be at a later date.
