Geraldine T. "Gerry" Davidson, 87, of Topeka, died Saturday, June 14th, following a long illness.
She was born on February 26th, 1927, in Blackwell, Oklahoma, to John Virgil and Maria (Stoll) Patrick. Gerry graduated from Blackwell High School and attended Arkansas City Junior College.
She was a service rep for Southwestern Bell Telephone for five years prior to her marriage. Gerry married Dave E. Davidson on October 16th, 1951, in Oklahoma City. Four beautiful children were born to this couple, Mark, Lisa, Kirk, and Leslie.
She was a member of Countryside United Methodist Church, Susannah Circle, Women's Club of Topeka, and former member of Topeka Country Club.
Gerry was preceded in death by her husband, one daughter, two sons, one brother, and three sisters-in-law.
She is survived by one daughter, Lisa A. (Bruce) Harrison, one grandson, Ryan (Anna) Johnson, and one great granddaughter, Rylee Johnson. Gerry is also survived by two sisters and three brothers.
Memorial services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 18th, 2014, at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel, Topeka. Private family inurnment will be at Mount Hope Cemetery, Topeka.
