Geraldine M. "Jerry" Strawn, 85, Topeka. passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2006 at a local hospital.
Jerry was born October 31, 1920 in Holton, the daughter of C.H. and Ethel (Migchelbrknk) McAlexander.
She worked for the Topeka Daily Capital before starting her family.
Jerry married Marvin L. Stawn on June 8, 1947 in Topeka. He survives. Other survivors include daughters, Deborah K. Schultz, and Cindy Strawn, both of Topeka; 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 1, 2006 at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. Jerry will lie in state after 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Burial will be in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery.
