George David Bearman, 85, of Topeka, passed away, Saturday, October 5, 2002
at Midland Hospice House, Topeka.
He was born March 7, 1917 at Ft. Scott, Kansas the son of Bert and Ella (Holding) Bearman. He graduated from Ft. Scott High School and attended Ft. Scott Community College. Mr. Bearman came to Topeka in the early 1940's and remained a Topeka resident until his death.
Mr. Bearman was employed at several businesses in Topeka including Marlings and Noller Ford. He retired from the State of Kansas while working in maintenance at Forbes Air Base.
He married Bertha Lorene Pool May 14, 1941. She preceded him in death March 4, 1972. He later married Mary Rinker November 16, 1973. She preceded him in death in November 30, 1994.
Graveside services will be held,11:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 9, 2002 at the Evergreen Cemetery, Ft. Scott, Kansas. Mr. Bearman will lie in state from 8:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel, Topeka. Memorial contributions may be given to Midland Hospice Care, 200 SW Frazier Circle, Topeka, Kansas 66606.
