Geneva Guerrero Sandaval
Geneva "Black Beauty" Guerrero Sandaval, 73 died Sunday January 25, 2004 at a Topeka retirement center.
She was born December 11, 1929 in Topeka the daughter of Joe and Mary Torrez Guerrero. She attended Topeka Schools.
Geneva worked at for the Menninger Hospital and later for the Parks and Recreation Department. After reitirement she was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by two sons Everett Ross, Frank Alejos, Sr. and a daughter Carol Ross Carter, Also by two sisters Betty West and Linda Castro, two brothers Henry Guerrero and Robert Guerrero.
Geneva was married to Arnuflo Alejos, she later married Ernest Ross, they both survive. She is survived by two sons, David Alejos, Sr., Kansas City, KS, Ernest Alejos, Topeka, a brother Neechee Guerrero, Topeka, 10 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
Cremation is planned. A Memorial service will be held at 3:00PM January 28, 2004 at Penwell-Gabe Mid-Town Chapel. Inurnment will be in Topeka Cemetery at a later date.
