Garland "Bud" Bundy, 86, of Topeka, passed away Saturday, December 21, 2013.
He was born April 15, 1927, in Topeka, Kansas, the son of Wilson and Bertha Bundy.
On December 19, 1952, in Dover, Kansas, he married Norma Jean Bigham. She preceded him in death in 2007. He was also preceded in death by a son, Michael Bundy.
Bud worked 30 years for Herrmann's Excavating in Topeka and 10 years at Drywall Construction.
Survivors include daughters, Teresa (Chris) Bloom and Laura (Darrell) Reicherdt; sons, Patrick (JoLynn) Bundy, Steve (Linda) Bundy, and Bud (Carol) Bundy; sister, Pauline Morris; six grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, December 26, 2013, at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel, 1321 SW 10th Avenue, Topeka, where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Auburn Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Midland Care, 200 SW Frazier Circle, Topeka, Kansas 66606.
