Gail A. Osborn
Gail A. Osborn, 84, of Topeka, passed away on Monday, August 29, 2011 at Rolling Hills Health Center in Topeka.
Gail was born July 25, 1927 in Centerville, KS, the son of Vernon and Violet Croan Osborn. He graduated from Centerville High School. He farmed in Centerville before moving to Eskridge where he continued to farm for several years. He then moved to Topeka where he went to work for USD 501 and was employed for 15 years before retiring in 1987.
Gail was preceded in death by two brothers, Ted and Glenn and his sister, Elsie Green. Survivors include seven nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place. Private inurnment will take place in Garnett Cemetery at a later date. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. Thursday at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel.
