Franklin Deemer
Franklin R. Deemer, 73, of Topeka, passed away Sunday, Oct. 15 at a local care facility.
He was born February 4, 1933 in Newton, the son of Walter L. and Ruth M. Clark Deemer.
He grew up in Sedgwick, KS and attended school in Valley Center. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and did farm labor and other odd jobs throughout his life.
He is survived by a brother, George Deemer, Lincoln, NE.
Mr. Deemer will lie in state after 8:00 am, Thursday, Oct. 19 at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm that afternoon at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery.
