Francisco "Chita" Lopez Gomez, 74, of Topeka, KS, passed away, June 30, 2007.
A rosary will be recited 6:00 p.m., Thursday, July 5, 2007, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with visitation to follow until 8:00 p.m. that evening.
Mass of Christian Burial will be said 10:00 a.m., Friday at the church followed by burial with military honors at Mt. Calvary Cemetery Topeka, Kansas.
Frank was born Dec. 22, 1932 in Kansas City, MO the son of Pedro and Sebastiana Lopez Gomez. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Carmen Gibbens, four brothers, Felix, Henry, Tony and David and one step sister, Lucy Arroyo.
He served in the U.S. Army as a Corporal during the Korean War.
Frank leaves his wife Lucille V. (Zuniga) Gomez, two daughters, Laura Arredondo, Topeka, KS; and Rhonda Gomez, Overland Park, KS; one son, Girard Gomez, Topeka, KS; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He has several nieces and nephews in both the Kansas City and Topeka areas.
