Frank Eugene Jaynes, Jr., 52, Topeka, died Wednesday, May 25, 2005 at Rolling Hills Health Center.
He was born March 6, 1953 in Omaha, the son of Frank Eugene, Sr. and Margaret J. McCarty Jaynes. He came to Topeka with his parents in 1958. He graduated from Topeka High School.
Mr. Jaynes worked as a machine operator for Frito Lay for 30 years, before retiring in 2003.
He married Sandy Blodgett. They later divorced.
Survivors include his mother, Margaret Jaynes, Topeka; a son and daughter-in law, Frank Eugene III and Kayla Jaynes, Auburn; a daughter, Cheri Jaynes; two grandchildren, Casey and Alyssia Jaynes; a sister, Rebecca Frazier, Tryon, NC; a niece and nephew, Natalie and Alex Frazier.
He was preceded in death by his father, a brother, Mike Jaynes, and a grandson, Brett Michael Jaynes.
Frank was loved and will be missed.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am Tuesday at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel with interment in Penwell-Gabel's Memorial Park Cemetery.
He will lie in state after noon Sunday at the funeral home.
