Francis J. "Frank" Graham, 90, of Topeka, passed away on Tuesday, July 4, 2006 at a Topeka care facility. He was born July 22, 1915 in Okanogan, WA, the son of Albert and Minnie Graham.
Frank graduated from Stadium High School in Tacoma, WA in 1934. After graduation, he served for several years in the U.S. Navy. He then worked as an independent electrician for several years prior to his employment with Santa Fe Railroad, where he retired after 28 years.
He married Ruby Hamilton on October 27, 1945 in Tacoma, WA. She passed away in March of this year.
He is survived by one daughter, Carlista (Carlie) Gurske and her husband, John of Silver Lake, KS; son, Patrick Graham and his wife, Sherry of Sacramento, CA daughter-in-law, Joyce Graham of Salinas, CA, six grandchildren, David, Joette, Christina, Jeri Anne, Jason, Monique and eight great grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place. A private inurnment and Celebration of Life will take place at a later date. Memorial contributions may be sent to Heartland Hospice, 1033 SW Gage Blvd, Topeka, KS 66604.
