Frances C. Bearce, 97, of Topeka died on Friday, June 6, 2014.
Frances was born on April 9, 1917 in Topeka to Frank J. and Clara O. (Christel) Dreyer. She graduated from Topeka High School and Strickler's Business School.
She was married to Karl Bearce on April 14, 1946 in Topeka; he preceded her in death on December 25, 2000.
She was a lifelong member of University United Methodist Church in Topeka and active in many church activities and organizations.
She is survived by two sons, Dale F. Bearce and Robert K. (Mary Ann) Bearce, both of Topeka; a daughter, Karla White of Davenport, IA; 7 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, by her husband, Karl Bearce, and one brother, Charles Dreyer.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, June 13 at University United Methodist Church, 1621 SW College Ave., Topeka. Interment will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery, 4700 SW 17th St., Topeka.
Frances will lie in state after 3 p.m., Thursday, June 12 at the Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel, 1321 SW 10th Ave., Topeka where the family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00p.m.
