Frances A. Flores, 89, of Topeka, passed away Saturday, December 14, 2013 at her home. She was born May 1, 1924 in Alice, TX, the daughter of Jose and Francisca Adame.
Frances had resided in Topeka since 1961. She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
Frances married Abel R. Flores. He survives. Other survivors include four sons, Julian (Theresa) Flores, Pedro Flores, Abel Flores, Jr. and Joe Flores all of Topeka, five grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren and thirteen great-great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Frances will lie in state and the family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Tuesday at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel.
