Frances A. Bennett
Frances A. Bennett, 97 of Topeka, passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2009 at Homestead Assisted Living. She was born on August 5, 1911 in Arkansas City, Kansas to James and Ethel (Caldwell) North.
On January 20, 1934 she married William M. Bennett in Topeka. He preceded her in death on October 30, 1989. Mrs. Bennett was a clerk at Sears and also was employed with Supply Depot-Forbes. She was a member of Asbury-Mount Olive United Methodist Church.
Frances is survived by several nephews, cousins, and friends.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 14, at Mount Hope Cemetery. Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel is handling arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the Asbury-Mount Olive United Methodist Church, 1196 SW Buchanan St., Topeka, KS 66604 or Homestead Assisted Living, 5820 SW Drury Ln., Topeka, KS 66604.
