Forest Courtner, 81, of Topeka passed away on July 11, 2004 at his residence. Forest was a CPCU agent for the Kogen Agency.
Forest was born on October 13, 1922 in Topeka, the son of Cecil and Louise Courtner. He was preceded in death by one brother and three sisters.
Forest had been a member of Countryside United Methodist Church for 42 years. He served in WWII as a P-38 pilot. He was a member of Orient Lodge 51, Scottish Rite and Arab Shrine. He was also a charter member of the Fortnightly Club. He volunteered in outpatient at St. Francis Hospital for 22 years.
He is survived by his wife, Eva Courtner. They were married on July 5, and were married for 59 years. To this union is survived 3 daughters, Deborah Courtner, Denver, CO. Pam Deulley, Littleton, CO. Rebekah Evans, Topeka. four grandchildren and one great granddaughter.

Visitation will be at Pewnwell-Gabel Midtown Chapel on Wednesday from 5-7 pm.
Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, July 15, 2004 at 11:00 am at Countryside United Methodist Church
