Floyd B. Johnson, 77, Topeka, died Sunday, Feb. 20, 2005 at his home. He was born Apr. 18, 1927 in Ozark, Ark, the son of Baily Eugine and Florine Austine Johnson.
Floyd was a member of Laborers Local #142.
He married Irene Mae Fulton in March of 1974, she passed away Feb. 4, 2000.
He is survived by two daughters, Carla Whiting and Susie Clark, Topeka; two sons, Albert Grace and George Clark, Topeka; several grandchildren and two great grandchildren; two brothers, Nathaniel Johnson; Samuel Joe Nathan; three sisters, Laura Mae Johnson; Coline Johnson; Laura Bell.
A funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m., Friday, Feb. 25, 2005 at the Garden Chapel in Topeka Cemetery. Mr. Johnson will lie in state after 2:00 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 24, 2005 at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel where the family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
