Floyd Charles "Chuck" Hauser, Jr., 81, of Topeka, passed away on October 19, 2018.
Chuck was born November 22, 1936 in Kinsley, Kansas, the only child of Floyd Charles Hauser, Sr. and Mildred (Bragg) Hauser. He graduated from Great Bend High School in 1955. Chuck worked in the oil industry for several years before he joined the U. S. Air Force. He served in the Air Force four years returning to Great Bend after he left the service. He was then employed by Eastman Kodak and was transferred to Topeka where he retired after being employed for 33 years.
On August 23, 1959 he married Willa Beth Thomas. He is survived by his wife Willa and their two children, Pamela Busch (Bobby) of Neodesha, KS; and Kerry (Kim) Hauser of Topeka, KS. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Ashley (Dylan) Wachsnicht and Jaimee Hauser of Topeka; Jennifer Busch of Lawrence, KS; and Allyson Busch, Neodesha; and three great-grandchildren Madison and Wyatt Wachsnicht; and Chandler Busch.
Chuck was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church where he served for a number of years as an Usher.
Family will greet friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 pm, Monday, October 22, 2018 at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel, 1321 SW 10th Topeka, KS. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday, October 23rd at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Topeka, KS.
