89, Olathe, passed away March 28, 2004 in Olathe, Ks. She was born June 23, 1914 in Marshall County, KS the daughter of Frank L. and Jennie Bearce Boyer.
Graduated from Marysville High School and received her nursing degree from Lincoln General Hospital in Lincoln, NE. Florence was married to Roy H. Eastwood in1937. They farmed in Summerfield, KS until 1974 when they moved to Topeka. Florence was a registered nurse in Pawnee City, NE and at the Presbyterian Manor in Topeka. Roy preceded her in death in 1996. Also preceding her in death, a daughter Phyllis in 2001.
Florence is survived by: A son: Ivan Eastwood Bend, OR
Two daughters: Jeanette Broky Lawrence, KS
Colette Eastwood KC, MO
8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00PM, Thursday April 1, 2004 at Westlawn Memorial Gardens. A Memorial service will follow at 2:00 pm Thursday at Jellison Chapel, Presbyterian Manor. Florence will lie in state from noon Wednesday until service time at Penwell-Gabel Midtown Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Presbyterian Manor, Topeka.
