Fern Lewis

Fern L. Lewis, 76, Olsburg, KS passed away at her daughter's residence. She was born April 2, 1931, the daughter of Elbert Jones and Bessie Wagnon.

Fern married Charles T. Lewis on August 11, 1956 in Nowata, OK. Born into this union were two daughters, Barbara A. (Michael) Cummings, Topeka, Arlene M. (Jeff) Lundberg, Olsburg and two sons, James L. (Ann) Lewis, Cottage Grove, MN, and Larry W. (Mona) Lewis, Homestead, FL. They survive. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Ella Mae Lewis on Sept. 24, 1962.

She was a resident of Oklahoma for 21 years before moving to Kansas in 1959.

Fern worked as an operator for Josten's Printing & Publishing, retiring after 10 years. She was a member of the Brookwood Covenant Church.

Fern is survived by a sister, Beaulah "Rea" Wade, Coffeyville, KS; 9 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.

Cremation has taken place. No services are planned. Private inurnment will be held at a later date.
