Faye R. Bean. 86, of Auburn, passed away, Thursday, December 14, 2006 at Stormont-Vail HealthCare.
She was born August 1, 1920 in Burdick, Kansas to Gilbert and Elsie Johnson. She attended school in Eskridge and later taught in Auburn.
She was an active member of Seabrook United Church of Christ. She participated in the Women's Fellowship and the sewing circle.
She taught school in Harveyville and Auburn.
Faye married Wilbur E. Bean on April 19, 1943. He preceded her in death on January 9, 1981. Survivors include a son, Larry Earl Bean, Hutchinson; a daughter, Sherry McConnell, Topeka; six grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and her sister, Ruth Hotchkiss, Burlingame. She was also preceded in death by her brother Gene Johnson.
Graveside services will be held 1:00 p..m., Saturday, December 16, 2006 at the Auburn Cemetery. Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel is assisting with arrangements.
