Fathia A. Mebed

As Fathia Mebed selflessly celebrated all our lives unwaveringly, it is time that we all join togehter to honor hers. Born in Cairo, Egypt on February 26,1924 and later traveling to the United States with her husband Dr. Ali Mebed and two children Zenab and Abdel, she created an extensive family from everyone she met until she peacufully passed on November 30th, 2008. She loved her healthy and happy (I am, grandma) grandson with all her heart. All other arrangements have been completed privately so we hope that you will come to tell stories and remember Fathia on Sunday, December 7th at the Governor's Row House located at 811 SW Buchanan Street in Topeka, KS at 12:00 p.m. Food will be served at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of any flowers we ask that donations be made in her to Florence Crittenton Group Home 2679 Arrowhead Rd. Topeka, KS 66614. Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel is assisting the family.
