Everett Salsbury

Everett N. Salsbury, 69, of Topeka, passed away on Saturday, November 27, 2010 at Midland Hospice. He was born on August 12, 1941 in Burlington, Kansas to Robert Benjamin and Mabel Mary (Dorrah) Salsbury.

Everett was a journeyman electrician and a jack of all trades. He married Judy Stouder on April 5, 1971 in Topeka. Everett was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran serving in Vietnam as a Corporal. He is survived by his wife, Judy; his children, Ron and Jon both of Topeka; three brothers, Larry, Thomas both of Olathe and Steven of Belton, MO and two sisters, Myra Winsor of Wichita and Delores Price of Silver Lake; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 2 at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. Burial will follow in the Penwell-Gabel Cemetery. Everett will lie in state after noon on Wednesday, December 1, where family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
