Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, William Andrew Bullard the senior, a brother William Sitz of El Dorado, daughters, Therese Ann Lewis of Topeka and Sarah Elizabeth Zibell of Holton, and grandson Christopher Richard Bullard of Topeka.
She is survived by her sister Betty (Mrs. Robert) Brokaw of Pea Ridge, Arkansas, seven daughters, five sons, thirty six grandchildren and forty nine great grandchildren. Evelyn was the eldest child of Herman Adam Sitz and Alma Eva Hermann Sitz of Coffeyville. She was born on 15 September 1919.
Evelyn graduated from Coffeyville High School in 1937 and attended Coffeyville Community College. She and William were married on January 16, 1943 while he was in the Army Air Corps. They lived for a while in Zephyr Hills, Florida and then returned to Coffeyville where they lived until 1951. They moved to Topeka and were members of Assumption Parish. They relocated to Holton in 1968 and then moved to their home built by their family in Tecumseh in 1995. They have been longstanding members of Sacred Heart Parish. Together in 63 years of marriage, Father and Mother devoted their lives to peace and unconditional love of all their family. The peace and love exemplified by our parents, lives on in each of us. She is a blessing on us all and for all of time. Now, in peace and joy, Mother again dances with Father.
