Evelyn Laurence (Ross) Johnson died July 22, 2018 in Topeka, KS.
She was born May 23, 1925 in Longmont, CO. She graduated from Longmont High School and then went on to graduate with a B.A. from Bethany College in Lindsberg, KS. She worked as a Medical Technologist at Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka for many years.
She married Wilmer Johnson in 1950. Together they had three children; Craig, Kathy and Rod.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Katherine Ross; sister, Dorothy Ann Olander (Dean); and husband, Wilmer Johnson.
She is survived by children; Craig Johnson (Alex), Kathy Johnson (Fernando Burstein), Rod Johnson (Suzanne Mades); grandchildren, Larissa Johnson, Ross Johnson, Mario Burstein (Megan Kovash), Sarah Burstein (Scott Sinnott), and great grandchild, Lyra.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 725 SW Buchanan, Topeka. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Private burial will take place at Mount Hope Cemetery & Funeral Chapel.
Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, or the NE Kansas Parkinson's Association.
