Eula Mae (Lange) Lamparter, 84, of Floyds Knobs, IN, passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2009, at Wedgewood Healthcare Center in Clarksville, Indiana. Eula Mae was born to the late Herman and Matilda (Blaser) Lange on May 16, 1925, in Bern, KS. She and her family lived in Sabetha, KS, where she worked for Farmers State Bank. In 1966, the family moved to Topeka, KS, where she worked at Washburn University as an administrative assistant for many years. She has lived in Southern Indiana since 2003.
She is survived by her children, Susan Warner (Joseph) of Lenexa, KS, Janet Eldridge (Stuart) of Floyds Knobs, IN, Mark Lamparter (Karen) of Colliersville, TN, and David Lamparter (Cindy) of Marshall, MO; 11 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and her sister Jean Griffith of Seneca, KS.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin F. Lamparter, and one granddaughter.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 22, 2009, at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel, 1321 SW 10th Ave., with burial to follow at Mount Hope Cemetery, 1700 SW Fairlawn. Visitation will be from 6:30-8:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 21, 2009 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hosparus - Hospice of Southern Indiana, 624 E.
