Eudulia Alejandro

Eudulia "Lulu" Alejandro, 69 of Topeka, Kansas passed away on Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at Midland Hospice. She was born on July 24, 1943 in D'Hanis, Texas to the late Luciano and Guillerma (Ibarra) Mares.
On November 25, 1970, she married Jose Alejandro in Corpus Christi, Texas. She is survived by her husband Jose Alejandro of Topeka, Kansas and son, Alexander Troy Alejandro of Wichita, Kansas; one sister, Enedina Mares Limones and her husband Andy Limones of Uvalde, Texas; two brothers, Jose Hector Mares and wife Dolores of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Dr. Lucio Mares, Jr. of Eagle Pass, Texas; and numerous nieces and one nephew.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary Post No. 400.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, December 6, 2012 at the Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel. Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 5, 2012 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Cremation is under the direction of Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Kansas Chapter, 555 N. Woodlawn, Ste. 113, Wichita, KS 67208.
