Esther Lillian Geneva Jones Herr, 99, Topeka, passed away Thursday, January 23, 2003, at a local care facility in Topeka, Kansas.
A funeral service will be 8:30 a.m., Saturday, January 25, 2003, at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. Mrs. Herr will lie in state after 3:00 p.m. Friday at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel with a visitation from 7-8:00 p.m. Interment will be 10:45 a.m., Saturday, January 25, 2003, at Sunset Cemetery in Manhattan, Kansas.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Herr Memorial Scholarship c/o Kansas State University Foundation 2323 Anderson Ave. Suite #500 Manhattan, Kansas 66502-2911.
