Ernesto "Bobo" Alejos, 64, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 28, 2019 at his home with family by his side. He was born April 10, 1954, in Topeka, Kansas, the son of Ernest Ross and Genive (Guerrero) Sandoval.
He enjoyed watching the Raiders, KU Basketball, drag racing and boxing. Most importantly, he loved spending time with his family.
He was employed by Goodyear filling multiple roles for the company for over 33 years, retiring on December 1, 2013. He was a member of the United Steelworkers Union local 307.
He has been united in marriage to Pam for the past 41 wonderful years, she survives. Other survivors include son, Ernie "Pops" Alejos; daughters, Nicole Coburn and Marla Hernandez; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and a brother, David Alejos. He was preceded in death by his mom, Genive; step-dad, Arnulfo Alejos; siblings, Carol Ross-Carter, Frank Alejos and Everett Ross.
A memorial visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at Penwell-Gabel, 1321 SW 10th Ave, Topeka, KS 66604.
