Eric Jenkins

Eric Reginald Jenkins, 26, formerly of Topeka, was killed in a one car accident near Clarinda, IA Sunday, 11-16-2003.

He was born 10-4, 1977 in Chicago, Illinois.

Eric attended Topeka Public Schools and graduated from Topeka High School in 1995. While at Topeka High he was a member of the wrestling team and participated in other sports. While in college he competed on the wrestling teams in St. Louis and South Dakota. He later attended Washburn University.

In 2001 he enlisted in the United States Air Force. He was currently serving as a Senior Airman stationed at the Offutt Air Force Base in Nebraska. He was serving in the medical facility at Offutt. He was previously stationed at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, TX.

plus a host of cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, 11-20-2003 at the Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. Burial with full military honors will follow at Penwell-Gabel's Memorial Park Cemetery. The casket will remain closed. A memorial service will be held Friday at the Offutt Air Force Base in Nebraska.
