Age 88, passed away September 2, 2002 at a Topeka Hospital. She was born March 13, 1914 in Albany , Missouri the daughter of Wood and Ruth Jones Adams.
She was a graduate of Albany High School in Albany, Missouri.
She was a member of First Southern Baptist Church.
She was married to Reverend Robert Turner, November 25, 1936. He died in 1986.
Survivors Include:
Two Sons: James R. Turner Topeka, Kansas
John A. Turner Lakeland, Florida
6 Grandchildren
14 great grandchildren
Serices will be held at 9:00AM, September 4, 2002 at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery. Mrs. Turner will lie in state from 1:00PM-9:00PM, Tuesday, Septmeber 3, 2002 at the funeral home where the family will greet friends and relatives from 6:30PM-7:30PM Tuesday, September 3, 2002. Memorial Contributions may be made to Topeka Youth For Christ, P.O. 1042, Topeka, Kansas 66601.
