Emmadell Goodall Jones, 81, of Topeka, passed away, Thursday, March 17, 2005 at Midland Hospice.

She was born May 13, 1923 in Amarillo, TX the daughter of John W. and Nettie McAboy Goodall.

She had worked in the truck lines and later as a child care provider.

Emmadell was a member of Oakland Christian Church.

She was married to Arthur D. Jones December 3, 1946 at Lawrence, Kansas. They later divorced. Survivors include one son, Mel Jones and his wife Jan, Topeka; one daughter, Linda K. and her husband Ralph L. Collie, Topeka; two granddaughters, Amy Jones, Lincoln, NE and Jeni Jones, Wichita, KS.

Funeral services will be held 9:00 a.m. Monday at the Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. Burial will follow at Penwell-Gabel's Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Jones will lie in state after 12:00 noon Sunday at the funeral home where the family will greet friends from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Sunday.
