Emily Kahler, 18, died November 28, 2009 at her great-grandmother's home in Burlingame, KS.
She was born April 8, 1991 to Kraig and Karen (Hetrick) Kahler in Colorado Springs, CO.
She considered Weatherford, TX her home town, but finished high school at Rock Bridge High School in Columbia, MO. She was a freshman at the St. Louis College of Pharmacy in St. Louis, MO.
She enjoyed outdoor activities, theatre, and music. She was a percussionist in school music ensembles and played drums in a rock band, Daze Off, with her sister Lauren and a friend.
She is survived by her father Kraig Kahler, grandparents Wayne and Pat Kahler, grandparents Paul and Sandra Hetrick and Pat Hetrick, and brother Sean Kahler.
Services will be held at Federated Church in Burlingame, KS on Saturday, December 5 at 10:00 a.m.
