Elva Maxine (Fulkerson) Williams, 77, of Topeka, passed away Monday, August 29, 2022.
She was born August 25, 1945, in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of James Wilbur and Maxine (Neely) Fulkerson. She graduated from Auburn-Washburn Rural.
Elva had the sweetest and most generous heart. She had a genuine way of making everyone she came in contact with feel loved and cared for. She freely gave compliments and her famous hugs complete with a back rub or her smile and wave telling you that you look nice.
She loved to play cards, color and play bingo and would often win. She would then turn around and give the prize she won to someone else.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints.
Elva had a hard life, but her willingness to help other and her large heart, you would never even know it. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Her compassion and sweetness will caring on in her honor.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings.
She is survived by her son, John and her daughter, Mary and numerous friends.
A Graveside Service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 9, 2022 at the Shawnee Center Cemetery, 101 Street, Wakarusa.
