Elsie V. Winrick

Elsie V. Winrick, 95, passed away on June 2, 2007. She was born March 1, 1912 in Alta Vista, Kansas. She is preceded in death by daughter, Katherine and husbands, Clarence R. Freeman and Claude C. Winrick. She is survived by her son, Gary Freeman (wife, Rita) of Topeka, daughter, Lee A. True (husband, Frank) of Shawnee Mission, KS, sisters Lilias Wint of Independence, KS, Bessie Baldwin and Katherine Pride of Manhattan, KS, plus grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 5, 2007 at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel, 1321 SW 10th Avenue, Topeka, KS. Visitation will be held before the service from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Heart of America Hospice, 3715 SW 29th Street, Topeka, Kansas 66614.
