Eloise B. Frohn, 94 of Topeka, passed away Sunday, March 8, 2009 at Aldersgate Village. She was born November 2, 1914 in Iola, KS, the daughter of Gordon R. and Bertha B. (Stevens) Bixler.
In 1932 she graduated from Sallisaw High School in Sallisaw, OK, she then attended Washburn University. On July 19, 1947 she married Ben J. Frohn in Topeka. He preceded her in death on July 19, 1980. She worked for the Kansas State Board of Vocational Education as an executive secretary for 14 years. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and an active member of the Beta Sigma Phi sorority. Mrs. Frohn is survived by her son, Michael of Portland, OR.
Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 12 at Mt. Hope Cemetery. Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel is assisting with arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church, 600 SW Topeka Blvd, Topeka, KS 66603 or charity of the donor's choice.
