Elna Bomholt
Elna Ione Bomholt, 66, passed away Wednesday, September 28 at Midland Hospice House in Topeka.
She was born November 22, 1938 in Conway Springs, the daughter of Jamie I. and Lenora Marie (Love) Jones.
She was a 1956 graduate of Conway Springs High School and was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Conway Springs.
She married Gary L. Bomholt on December 22, 1957. He survives. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, James Jones of Conway Springs.
Other survivors include a daughter, Terri House and her husband Jerry; two much loved grandsons, Shaun and Josh Theobald, all of Topeka; three sisters, Charlotte Fischer, Vienna, Virginia; Marilyn Zimmerman, Caney, Kansas and Karen Blubaugh, Goddard, Kansas; one brother, Estel Jones, Argonia, Kansas.
Cremation is planned. The family will greet friends from 6:00 to 7:30 pm, Monday, October 3 at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, October 4 at the funeral home with inurnment to follow in Mount Hope Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Stormont Vail Hospital Foundation, 1500 SW. 10th St., Topeka, Kansas 66604 or to Midland Hospice House, 200 SW. Frazier Circle, Topeka, Kansas 66606.
