Elmer Lee Barge

Elmer Lee Barge, 69, of Topeka, passed away on Monday, February 19, 2007 at a Topeka hospital. He was born on April 13, 1937 in Horton, the son of Ralph E. and Wilma Smith Barge. He lived most of his life in Topeka. He was of the Lutheran faith. Elmer married Anita Kneisel. She preceded him in death on July 20, 1982. Survivors include two sisters, Doris E. Henderson of Topeka, Lois I. Kozich of Davenport, IA, five nephews and three nieces. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. Burial will follow in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery. Elmer will lie in state after 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel.
