Ellen Mae Perine, 75, of Topeka, passed away, Saturday, February 9, 2008.
Ellen was born November 10, 1932 in Nortonville, KS the daughter of Fred and Musie Ragland. She was a graduate of Winchester High School.
Ellen was a homemaker. Her passion was her family, being a devoted wife and mother to her five children. She was very active in their lives as well as assisting her husband in the family business.
She was an active member of West Side Baptist Church.
Ellen is survived by her husband of 56 years James Perine. Other survivors include her five children, Michael Perine, Patricia Nash, Scott Perine, Lori Moyer, Stan Perine, two sisters, Glenda Thompson and Betty Reynolds, one brother, Larry Ragland, and ten grandchildren.
Cremation is planned. Family visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.Wednesday February 13, 2008 at the Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
