Elizabeth R. Moore

Elizabeth Rae Moore, 91 Topeka died Wednesday, June 29 at a local hospital. She was born Aug 26, 1912 in Burlingame, Kansas the daughter of David and Ellen Bell Love. She was an office manger working for the federal government,
retiring in 1970. She married Samuel E. Moore Aug 27, 1945 in Lawrence. He preceded her in death March 25, 1977. Elizabeth graduated from Burlingame High School. She was a member of Eastern Star Corinthia Chapter #181 at Burlingame and was an avid bowler. She is survived by a sister Doris Darby, of Liberty, MO, two step-daughters Betty Kohrs, Florence, KY and Maurita Wagoner, Tavares, FL; 6 nieces and 4 nephews.
Services will be at 1:00 PM, Friday, July 2 at Mount Hope Mausoleum Chapel. where she will be entombed. Mrs Moore will lie in state from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Thursday, July 1, 2004. at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel.
