Elizabeth J. Corcoran, 86, of Topeka, passed away Monday, August 13, 2018.
She was born August 22, 1931, in Atchison, Kansas, the daughter of Rudolph and Elizabeth (Klein) Winkler. She was a graduate of Atchison High School.
Elizabeth was a homemaker and Tecumseh neighborhood day care provider.
She was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Elizabeth married Byron D. Corcoran in Atchison, KS. He preceded her in death on January 27, 2002. Survivors include a son, Shawn M. Corcoran, Shawnee, KS; a grandson, Chanze Allen; and a sister, Doris Shufflebarger, Atchison, KS.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a son, Eric K. Corcoran on May 22, 2018.
A funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 18, 2018 at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 901 SW Fillmore St, Topeka, KS 66606.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., Friday at the Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel, 1321 SW 10th Ave., Topeka.
Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 1315 SW Arrowhead Rd, Topeka, KS 66604 or St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church.
