Elizabeth Inez Weaver, Age 93, passed away April 10, 2003 at a Overland Park, KS care facility. Mrs Weaver was born October 23, 1909 in Burdett, KS
the daughter of Herbert J. and Nellie L. Funkhouser Cleary.
Mrs. Weaver received her music degree from Kansas Univeristy, taught school in her early adulthood, private music lessons in her home. She lived in Roswell NM from 1971-1984, lived in Topeka from 1940s to 1971, then from 1984 to 2001.
Member of First Congregational Church UCC in Topeka; AAUW. She was married to Allan M. Weaver, he died 1984.
Survivors include:
Two Sons: John A. Weaver San Jose NM
Jess Richard "Dick" Weaver Seattle, WA
Three Grandsons: Allan P. Weaver Olathe, Ks
Aaron W. Weaver Olathe, KS
Aric J. Weaver Olathe, KS
Graveside Services will be held at 11:00AM, Wednesday April, 30, 2003 at Maple Hill Cemetery, Maple Hill, KS. Memorial Contributions may be made to First Congregational Church, Topeka KS or Old Stone Church at Maple Hill or to Heartland Hospice of Overland Park, KS, and may be sent in care of Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel, 1321 SW 10th, Topeka, KS 66604 who is in chage of arrangments. Friends invited to a no-host lunch at Puffy's in Maple Hill at noon.
