Eleanor Studebaker

Eleanor Studebaker, 93, of Topeka, KS passed away on Wednesday, September 19, 2018. She was born on February 21, 1925 in Rochester, PA, the daughter of Roy and Christena Manchester.

She graduated from Rochester High School in 1942.

She married Paul Studebaker on August 14, 1943 in Fresno, CA.

She enjoyed spending time with family, taking photos, reading, and gardening.

She is survived by her children Marilyn Haynes, John (Kathy) Studebaker, and Gary (Irene) Studebaker; 12 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Paul Studebaker; children Shirley Brubaker and James Studebaker; son-in-law Roy Haynes; and a grand-daughter Michelle Studebaker.

She will lie in state Friday, September 21 from 3:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel. A graveside service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Mount Hope Cemetery at 17th and Fairlawn in Topeka.
