Elda Garhan, 86, Topeka, passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2012 at Lexington Park.
She was born September 8, 1925 in Linn, Kansas, the daughter of Albert and Emma (Helms) Kuhlman.
She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church.
Elda married Dr. Jack L. Garhan on June 3, 1950. He died January 21, 2011. Survivors include their children, Jane (Greg) Duffens, Topeka; Robert (Cynthia) Garhan, Topeka; Judy (Kevin) O'Brien, Leawood; Patty (Terry) Puett, Auburn; Mary (Mitch) Cooper, Topeka; Susie (Steve) Herron, Topeka; son-in-law, Jim Wolff, Topeka; twelve grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Dale (Carolyn) Kuhlman, Kansas City; and sisters, Lorna Wilgers, Washington, and Dorothy (John) Lough, San Jose, CA. She was also preceded in death by daughter, Debbie Wolff; three brothers and two sisters.
Private family services will be held at Mount Hope Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Faith Lutheran Church, 1716 SW Gage, Topeka, Kansas 66604.
